This was my second cruise. My first cruise was on the Rhapsody of the Seas and I thought that was big! The Voyager of the Seas is a fantastic ship with such good choice of activities and facilities for people of all ages and all walks of life. I was 20 at the time and I was worried I would be bored and not enjoy the holiday but how wrong could I be! The food was excellent, there was a large choice dining options available and 24 hour dining/room service. I never had any problems in getting a sun lounger to relax on after breakfast, even if I did sleep in and have a late breakfast and not get to the pool deck until 11.00am unlike the vast majority of most hotel holidays where its almost impossible to get a lounger if you get there after about 9.30am! The service levels were excellent. The staff bent over backwards to make sure I got the most out of my holiday and they were very knowledgable regarding excursions and things to do at the ports of call and chef's recommendations. The inside cabin I had was good value for money, whilst I had no window or balcony the cabin was a really good size and very nicely laid out. Other people I travelled with had a balcony cabin and a junior suite and these were amazing value for money. There was a huge range of shore excursions at fairly reasonable prices and if that's not your thing or there isn't any that you like then you can stay on the ship and take part in any of the activites going on on board the ship throughout the day. The overall feeling I get from Royal Caribbean is that they are one of the best cruise lines on the market with innovative family friendly, service levels to a very comfortable (not too regimented) standard with very clean, stylish, grand looking ships. I have since been on the brand new P&O Ventura before it set sail on its maiden voyage and I was very disappointed to see that it is nothing when compared to the Voyager class ships, let alone the Freedom class which I am yet to see.
My only negative point is that i do not feel their itineries are as full on as they could be, especially when compared to rival cruise lines e'g Princess, P&O, Cunard, NCL, Ocean Village etc etc. They seem to only be 7 or 9 night itineries and always have 1 or 2 extra days spent at sea
I had the most amazing time on this cruise ship and would recommend Royal Caribbean cruises to anyone thinking of taking a voyage with them.

| Quality of Food | |
| I ate in the main restaurant most evening's throughout the cruise. The choice of food was excellent. The choice of eating times/venues was good too. 24hr room service was a very nice extra if you don't feel like going to one of the many restaurants on board. Johnny Rockets was a good place to go for a meal, also the buffet reastaurants were good too. Fresh food and a good selection available. | | Entertainment | |
| I didn't go to that many shows in the theatre although the one I did go to was very high quality. I liked the comedy shows in the lounges although I thought the comedy was a bit too family friendly! | | Shore Excursions | |
| This was swimming with the sting rays at Grand Cayman. Staff were very knowledgeable and made sure you had fun and got as much out of your time there as possible. I didnt go on any excursions I did not enjoy. | | Staff | |
| My cabin attendant was amazing. He would clean the cabin at least 3 times a day. He even folded up my clothes I had left in a heap on the floor in my cabin and put them neatly on my chair. He was also very patient when I would sleep in through breakfast and not leave my cabin until around lunch time. I was also very impressed with the waiter as he knew all the best excursions to go on, recommended dishes to try. He also knew loads about all the ports of call we were to visit - that knowledge helped me make the most out of my holiday. | | Children's Facilities | n/a |
| Everytime I saw kids which wasn't that often they were busy doing activities with the kids club staff. I have no kids so did not use the kids facilities. | | Onboard Activities | |
| I missed out on some of the activites because i was doing other activities!! There was so many different things going on that I could barely keep up. There was enough choice so that it didn't matter what time it was there was always something going on that I would enjoy. | | Cabins | |
| The cabins were a very good size. Nice layout, shower room was very good. Beds and sheets were very comfortable. | | Overall Rating | |
