My husband and I havejust returnedfrom awonderful 8 day cruise on Vision of the Seas. It did not start well as we were unfortunate to have travelled through Heathrow T5. We arrived on board without any luggage. We reported this to the Guest Relations and they were wonderful, they sent a report to BA and followed this up daily and kept us informed of the progress or lack of it.
However even with no cases it did not deter us from enjoying ourselves. As we were celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary, we had opted for a Junior Suite, we were not disappointed, we had plenty of space both inside and on the balcony. Our bathroon consisted of both bath & showerand we also had the use of bath robes. We also had a fridge, which I believe is not standard in all cabins as Vision is an older ship. Our Steward, Ballard could not do enough for us.
The restaurants again served up delicious meals with plenty of choice and ample portions with plenty for those who wished more. One thing missing was the Speciality Restaurants i.e. Portofino
There was plenty to keep you occupied on board and with 3 ports of call, plenty to go ashore for.
Shows were of the usual high standard for RCI.
Again we have no reason not to cruise with RCI.
