Well my husband and myself have just returned from a 5 night cruise and WOW.I have described to friends as pure luxury and indulgence. We had an inside stateroom and this was very comfortable with a huge bed.It was our first cruise and it far reached any of our expectations. The food the restaurants the staff I cannot fault anything, the only problem we are having now is how will any other holiday live up to this. One of the things i was concerned about being on a ship is bumping into the same people day after day, well you wont it is so vast there are many areas you can sit and have a quiet drink. My husbands worry was the formal evening(we are not people that dress formally, being a farmer and lorry driver)but it was fab my husband wore his suit with white shirt and dickie bow and myself a knee length dress. And to be honest it varied from white tuxedos and full length amazing dresses to smart casual trousers and jackets and trouser suits.Whatever you wear it is a fantastic evening and definetly not to be missed. We sat on a table for 6 at dinner although we never actually mat 2 of the guests, the other 2 (Hayley and John, hello)were great company. There was such a mixture of ages it was lovely to meet people from all over the world. We will definetly be going again and we will take our 2 14 year olds because there is so much to do.Its such a shame that you have to sleep because you miss so much.

| Quality of Food | |
| We really enjoyed the Nutcracker restaurant as it was lovely to be waited on and the food was 5* The windjammer restaurant was also excellent if you wanted to be abit more informal and the Johnny Rockets burger restaurant(well you had better be very hungry)the burgers are huge and staff so lovely .We unfortunately didnt have time to try chops grille or portafinno but heard great things | | Entertainment | |
| The ice show was fantastic the singing and dancing show in the metropilis was terrific, and the piano player/entertainer in Boleros? was very good.Didnt like the jazz in the cosmopolitian bar but then we dont like jazz but the bar was lovely. | | Shore Excursions | n/a |
