Just got back from Cork on the Independence. What can i say, fantastic, fun, excellent food, excellent waiter service in fact every member of staff was sooooo polite and happy. Beautiful ship, had something for every one as far as i know, didnt hear any complaints off people who we spoke to. It was very clean, tidy and the stateroom we were in was as big as we needed it to be with a great bathroom. Chocolate on the pillows (Mmmmmmm) and lets not forget the towels, you'll need to see it, so much fun it made me and my husband laugh. The children on the ship also seemed to be well behaved and polite, although you didnt see them much!! Me and my husband sat in the library and as the children came past they were going 'ssshhhhh its the library', superbly behaved. Fun to be had by everyone.
We got to Southampton at 10:00am and on the ship at 11:00, although rooms were not ready till one we colud adventure around, have a drink and sit in comfort where we wanted and not in a departure lounge. Superb service from all involved.
One drawback for me and my husband, (oh dear, sorry) we didnt have room to dance ballroom, there is a good floor in the Pyramid lounge but not the music for us, anyway, all in all GIVE IT A GO, you wont be dissapointed. I,d loved for you to say why if you are or were!!
