As first time cruisers we splashed out on a balcony room and loved being able to see the ports and sea views whilst sipping tea in our room! The cabin was comfortable (especially the bed) and large enough for the three of us. The ship was lovely, very spacious - it didn't feel as if there were 4000 or so guests on board. Lots to do if you wanted, plenty of room to relax and chill out if you didn't. The food was good overall. Some of the items in the dining room were not quite what we expected and occasionally not quite of the quality we were expecting, but there was always plenty of choice in the Windjammer if you wanted. We thought the entertainment overall was good. Some of the shows were excellent - one or two just okay, but the ice shows were spectacular and well worth seeing. The staff were all very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Overall we were very impressed and definitely converted to cruising!
