We travelled on the Explorer of the Seas on their Canada and New England
itinerary. The ship is beautiful, the shopping promanade an amazing sight with bars and cafe's dotted in between the shops.
The main restaurant is visually beautiful but unfortunately the food disappointing we expected much more from Royal Caribbean, in fact all the Thompson cruise ships we had previously travelled with had a much higher standard of cuisine!
The entertainment was also very poor. Again the theatre was visually extremely effective but it lacked in substance.
The best show we attended all week was the Ice show which was ticket only we were very fortunate to get tickets as this was superb entertainment and highly recommended!
Our cabin was spacious and the staff very helpful.
The Ports of call could not be faulted, Halifax was amazing and our guide very informative and enthusiastic,St John and a visit to Arcadia National Park is a must the views are spectacular. Boston a delight, visit the Cheers bar in the centre of town its great fun!I would recommend that anyone planning to go on trips use the pre-booking on line as it is simple and less stressful. Who wants to wait in line to book trips when you can be having fun!
Quality of Food
Main restaurant hughly disapponting!
Entertainment
Best show of the nine days Ice Show highly recommended!
