Q: Zoom Airline's collapse. Hooray to Virgin Atlantic. I had booked Zoom back from San Diego to Gatwick for end of September (against the better judgment of some of you!!). Anyway, in case anyone else is in my predicament please call Virgin - they have been fantastic and discounted 80% off the published fare. I am paying £270.50 from LA to Heathrow. BA were supposed to be reducing fares for Zoom's passengers too but were quoting £711....
