Q:
Has anyone already booked Independence of the Seas' Mediterranean Treasures departing 9th May 2009? Would any of you be interested in maybe meeting up for a drink or coffee at some stage during the cruise - just to say "hi" and meet others who check out this website? I know there's "Meet & Mingle" on another website but allegedly that's a bit of a snob-value get-together organised by RCI themselves and only for a minimum of 25 people. My husband is also in the Lions and would love to say "hello" to any fellow Lions on board. I know it's really early to ask but I just thought I'd guage the response! Thanks to all.

There is no such 'snob' value to the meet&mingle - what a load of rubbish! It is a nice event laid on by RCI and which is attended by many of the crew (often senior) Food and nibbles and prizes laid on...

Well then I stand corrected - as hopefully are the reviewers who have commented on this event (albeit not on this website)- and I did say "allegedly". Perhaps you could explain Meet & Mingle a bit more fully please and then I can register? Thank you.

Apology accepted! Anyway the M&M is organised by a website that you are not allowed to mention here (so much for free speech..) so if you go to the royalcaribbean.com website , then click on Contact us > FAQs > then under the On Board section you will find the link at the bottom for M&M. It really is worth it.

Yes I agree. Some of us have been trying to get enough numbers for a M & M on Navigator for 19th September. Unfortunately on a ship of over 3000pax. only 16 have signed up for the M & M.

It is a shame that more people do not know about the 'site that shall not be named' (perhaps we call it the Voldemort site..). Perhaps the powers that be on this site would open their eyes to free speech one day instead of blocking any reference to it...
