Hi there, I am also booked to go on indy on Oct 4th, i have been allocated cabin 2316 outside cabin, i was very very conceren about this due to noise, after been on a thomson ship earlier this year and having lots of noise on desk 3. But i now feel more at ease after reading your review.

Hi there - I was on Indy in June and had an inside cabin on deck 2 cabin (2333). It was absolutly dead peacefull and quiet, absolutly no engine noise, no galley noise just peace and quiet. The are some usefull benefits to deck 2 as well - When you come back aboard after spending your money ashore you actually come onto deck 2 !! So no queue's for lifts etc. The main restaurants are deck 3 and above, so it's a very short walk from cabin to food. The main entertainments are on decks 3, 4, 5 so you need not wait for lift to get there, it's a short walk up the stairs. And believe it or not getting a lift from deck 2 seemed easier than on the busy decks, i guess it's the "getting on at the start theory". We liked deck 2 so much we are going on it again next year. PS - And whilst the ship has no bad habits at sea with bad weather, the lower the deck you go the less you feel is very true.
